We started BaseScape because we saw the same problem over and over along the Wasatch Front: homeowners sitting on thousands of square feet of dark, underused basement space with no connection to the outdoors.
Utah's hillside terrain is perfectly suited for walkout basements, yet most homes were built without them. Existing basements feel like bunkers — no natural light, no direct access to the yard, and tiny code-minimum windows that barely qualify as emergency exits.
We're passionate about changing that. When you cut a proper entry into a basement wall or install an oversized egress window, something remarkable happens: the entire character of the space transforms. Suddenly it's a place people want to be — filled with light, connected to the landscape, and genuinely livable.
That transformation is what drives us every day.
